Every year the seniors on the football team get to honor a teacher who has influenced them. It is such a great experience. The teachers love being honored in this way; it is huge recognition for their hard work and the seniors love it because it is a senior thing to do. And senior year in many ways is about reflection! Having to ask a teacher really makes them think about what classes they have liked and what teachers they connected with.
Tobin asked Mr. Tarzwell, one of his English teachers. I was so happy that he chose an English teacher. It made my heart proud!!!
