Umttr

One of Noah's friends, Carter had a cousin who died his sophomore year of high school.  Evan actually went to Churchill and I knew him by site.  It was very sad and the kids had a hard time recovering from his death.  Noah's friend Carter was especially close to Evan and took it pretty hard.  So, Evan's family along with several of his friends, organized a basketball tournament, which Evan played at Churchill!  Carter asked Noah to play on his team along with Aidan and a couple of others.  Noah was touched to be asked and was all in from the moment he heard about it.  The organizers of the tournament had shirts made up that said, "Umttr" (You matter) to honor Evan's memory.  Noah's team was put in the grouping with seniors and so they didn't do all that well, but they had a great time.
